A Letter to myself

I love receiving letters. It has the element of surprise and it warms me to know that someone remembered you, thus they are sending u a mail. Since I rarely ever receive any mails from anyone, I am going to draft one for myself.

Dear Weiting,

So much things has changed in your life. The gain of a degree, the lost of a student. The gain of a job, the lost of flexibility. The gain of earning money, the lost of desire to spend. The gain of freedom, the lost of a loved one.

The future may look uncertain and bleak, but stay optimistic. Life will only get better. Dont look at things too narrowerly. Take a step back and see the bigger picture, maybe something good will come out of bad situations.

Dont blame yourself for everything bad that is happening around you. Its not your fault. You are not a jinx.

Give yourself time to accept changes. Dont hold things that no longer belong to you. Learn to let go and release yourself from sorrow and pain.

Look around you. You are fortunate and loved by others.

Lastly, dont always brood on negative issues. Think positive thoughts. Good things will happen to happy people. Cause happy people will make the best out of any situation!

With love.
